Harlow

Rateavon worked with SSE to install external wall insulation to over 450 homes (across 3 phases) in Harlow, Essex. The properties are owned by Harlow Council and were of non-traditional construction. Alescco’s Basic 5 EWI System with 90mm EPS was specified. This system reduced the walls U-values to 0.29W/(m²k) from approximately 1.90W/(m²k). A spar dash or smooth render finish and colour was chosen to match the houses original finish. A total carbon saving of 12,523.917tco² was achieved based on ECO calculations across this project.
